
Christopher Winders is a founding member, technical director and composer for TableTopOpera, adapting music and creating visuals for multimedia concert productions. A native of central North, Carolina Christopher holds a Ph.D. in composition from the University of Rochester, Eastman School of Music and a B.M. and M.M from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He has lectured at Eastman in the theory and composition departments, and the Eastman Computer Music Center. His article “Toward a Structural Ordering Within George Perle’s Twelve-Tone Tonality” was published in Theory and Practice (Vol. 33, 2008). He previously worked for E.B. Marks Music Company, specializing in the scores of William Bolcom, and received the 2011 Paul Revere Award for Graphic Excellence.
